Previewing your movie in the timeline

You can preview your movie using the timeline. You can drag the scrubber to see the rendered movie at a specific frame, or press the Play button or Spacebar to preview the entire movie in real time.

To preview using the timeline

  1. Drag the scrubber to view the rendered preview at a given time.

  2. Press the Rewind, Play, and FF buttons to move the scrubber to the beginning, play the movie, or move the scrubber to the end.

  3. Press Spacebar to play or stop the preview.

Preview Performance

The real time preview speed is affected by many factors including the size of your images, your computer's speed, you computer's graphics card, the complexity of your motion paths and transitions, and the number of layered titles and graphics (see Improving playback performance).
