Adding a title

In the timeline, position the scrubber where you want the title to appear.

Click on the button or press Command-Shift-T.

Adjust the duration of the title using the inspector or by dragging directly in the timelines (see Editing title timing).
You can set the default duration of new titles using the Preferences dialog (see Editing your preferences).
