Adding captions to photos

You can add captions to the photos in your document.

To add captions to your photos

  1. Select the photos to which you want to add captions.

  2. Choose Title → Label Photos....

  3. A dialog will open in which you can select what items you want to appear in the caption. In addition, you can specify whether the items are separated by a space or by carraige returns. You can also specify a prefix or suffix for each caption.

  4. Click OK. Two new title tracks will be added to your document and captions for each of the photos will be inserted into those title tracks. The titles will be automatically linked to the photo (see Linking title and graphic timing to a photo).

  5. You can select the titles in the timeline and align them to each other (see Aligning titles and graphics to each other).
